PTP Together with JPA Continue To Extend Charity by Distributing Aid to Residents of Old Folks Homeand Welfare Care Centre

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, together with Johor Port Authority (JPA) distributed necessities to the residents of Pusat Penjagaan Warga Emas Nur Ehsan, Kempas and Pertubuhan Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kesayangan Abadi Johor as part of both organisations’ continuous corporate social responsibility programme involving the community.

Necessities care pack consisting of items such as rice, cooking oil, crackers, diapers, toothbrushes, detergents and others were handed over to the respective caretakers by representatives from PTP and JPA. Aside to the care pack, PTP and JPA also took the liberty to treat both residents for a scrumptious packed lunch to help lift their mood in this trying time. All precautionary measures in combatting COVID-19 such as wearing face masks, maintaining social distancing of one metre and practising regular hand sanitising were observed throughout the activities to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

PTP community outreach programme such as distributing necessities to residents of Pusat Penjagaan Warga Emas Nur Ehsan, Kempas and  Pertubuhan Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kesayangan Abadi Johor aimed at building meaningful relationship with the company’s stakeholders whilst offering PTP employees the chance to give something back to the community.
