MMC Group contributed one fire brigade van to the Pasukan Bomba dan Penyelamat Ayer Hitam Johor during an event witnessed by YB Datuk Seri Ir Dr Wee Ka Siong, Minister of Transport and YBhg Datuk Isham Ishak, Secretary General of MOT in Putrajaya. YB Datuk Seri Ir Dr Wee Ka Siong is also the Member of Parliament for Ayer Hitam.

In the same event, MMC Group also contributed a total of 600 care packages consisting of daily food essentials to representatives of Selangor, Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur School Bus Drivers Association and the Malaysian Taxi Association. The contribution aimed at helping to reduce the burden of school bus and taxi drivers who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a time of overwhelming uncertainty from the viral pandemic, there is a need for MMC Group to help those in need during this challenging time. Corporate social responsibility programme is an important platform through which the Group is able to give back to the communities. It is hope that this small gesture will benefit those who are deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
