Kontena Nasional Berhad Participates in Perkeso Activ@Work Challenge 2019

Kontena Nasional Berhad (KNB), a member of MMC Group, has participated in Activ@Work Challenge 2019 organised by Perkeso and BookDoc under the Emerald category. Launched by Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin, Chief Executive Officer of KNB at its Port Klang Branch, the programme had gained 150 participations from employees of KNB.

This programme was aimed at encouraging employers in Malaysia to support employees to stay active wherever they may be, even in the workplace. Using the concept of being active while collecting rewards by Perkeso and BookDoc, the physical activities conducted become more interesting with various activities to do, such as hiking, senamrobik, gotong royong, badminton and bowling. Participating companies were evaluated for three months period beginning 1 October 2019 until 31 December 2019.

In March 2020, under the Emerald category, KNB’s employee Abd Razak Md Aris from Rakan Khidmat Penghantaran was announced as a winner for the Top 10 Most Active Employees in Malaysia.
