PTP Welcomes Menteri Besar of Johor YAB Datuk Haji Hasni Bin Mohammad

On 18 October 2020, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, received an inaugural working visit from YAB Datuk Haji Hasni bin Mohammad, Menteri Besar of Johor and his delegation. They were warmly welcomed by Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP and members of PTP Management Team.

Also present during the visit were YB Tuan Haji Solihan Badri, State Exco of Public Works, Transportation and Infrastructure, YB Mohd Izhar Ahmad, State Exco of Investment, Entrepreneur, Corporation and Human Resources, YB Dato’ A. Rahim bin Nin, State Financial Officer, YBhg Datuk TPr. Mohd Faidzal bin Hamzah, State Director of PLANMalaysia, Tuan Haji Rosnan Fathlal, Chairman of Johor Port Authority and senior officers from the State and Federal government agencies.

The agenda of the visit included a comprehensive presentation on PTP’s operational performances, the port’s progress and its on-going development. The delegation was then taken to Marine Control Centre at Wisma A before preceded for a boat tour to see future development of PTP‘s surrounding areas including its container terminal and Free Zone Area.

This visit is part of PTP stakeholders’ engagement programme focusing at fostering relationship with various State and Federal government agencies and authorities.
