Alam Flora Continues Its Pek Prihatin Programme


Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (Alam Flora) continues its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme with the distribution of 100 Pek Prihatin to the needy families from 15 Public Housing Programmes (Program Perumahan Rakyat or PPR) including the frontliners in Kuala Lumpur recently.


As part of Alam Flora’s CSR initiative together with Pertubuhan DAI Kuala Lumpur, the Pek Prihatin consist of food essentials such as rice, cooking oil, eggs, sugar and other cooking condiments.  A total of 75 units of Pek Prihatin were handed over to the respective PPR representatives.


The remaining of 25 packages were also distributed to the frontliners from Dang Wangi Police District Headquarters. The contribution was presented by Dato’ Mohd Zain Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of Alam Flora to YDH ACP Tuan Mohamad Zainal Hj Abdullah, Police Chief of IPD Dang Wangi in a simple ceremony held at the Dang Wangi Police Station.


The CSR Pek Perihatin programme is one of Alam Flora’s initiative in helping the less fortunate who are greatly affected, of which the recipients are those who have lost their source of income due to COVID-19 pandemic.  


Among the PPRs that received aids under this programme are PPR Sri Selangor, PPR Sri Semarak, PPR Sri Muhibah, PPR Sri Aman, PPR Hiliran Ampang, PPR Pinggiran Bukit Jalil, PPR Sri Melaka, PPR Air Panas Kg Baru, PPR Desa Rejang, PPR Beringin, PPR Intan Baiduri, PPR Kerinchi, PPR Salak Selatan, PPR Wangsa Sari and PPR Sri Cempaka.
