Alam Flora Shows Appreciation Towards the Frontliners with Prihatin Kits

Approximately 1,100 Prihatin Kits were distributed by Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (Alam Flora) to the frontliners at several Vaccination Centres, COVID-19 Assessment Centres and Homeless Service Centres located in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility programme. Each Prihatin Kit contains a meal set, a hand sanitiser and an ‘Alam Flora Prihatin’ badge which were packed in a reusable food container.

Dato’ Mohd Zain Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of Alam Flora said, “As frontliners themselves, Alam Flora understands the struggle that these frontliners have to endure as they often face constraints in obtaining and buying food supplies while on duty. Thus, they consequently resort to asking their family members to send them food, risking the safety of their own families.”

It has been more than a year since the Movement Control Order was implemented in Malaysia. Frontliners are equivalent to the medical staff and the volunteers, who constantly face various challenges and are put in a high-risk situation. But it never, in any way, dampens the spirit of giving the best in their works. This contribution is one of Alam Flora efforts in recognising their dedication and commitment in combatting the pandemic.
