MMC Engineering Sdn Bhd, a member of MMC Group, took an initiative and donated 60 gift baskets as a sign of support to the ‘Program Ops Jihad Dadah’ organised by Jawatankuasa Pembangunan dan Keselamatan Kampung (JPKK) Kampung Chabang, Kemaman together with the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP).
Present during the ceremony were, YB Ir Saiful Azmi Suhaili, Adun Kemasik, Superintendent Hanyan Ramlan, Chief District Police of Kemaman, Amri Mamat, Chairman of JPKK Kampung Chabang and Khairuddin Abdul Rahim, Project Manager of Graphite Project.
The ‘Ops Jihad Dadah’ was running for a duration of one month indirectly involves the Graphite project area at Kampung Chabang. Through this programme, the RMP has continuously conducted operations near the village area to combat drug activity and arrest drug addicts. As a result, a total of eight people have volunteered for rehabilitation from the drugs addiction.
In addition, various spiritual and physical activities have been arranged including talks, sports competitions, fun walks, summons discounts and many more throughout the programme.
