 Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, marked another milestone by winning the Asia’s Most Influential Companies Award at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES) 2021. The ceremony, which was held online, saw a total of 420 nominees and 154 finalists from 15 different countries across the region.

ACES is one of the most prestigious accolades that recognises inspiring leaders and sustainability advocates cross-industry and across Asia. Since its inauguration in 2014, the ACES Awards has grown to become one of the most sought-after accolades in Asia, a fact substantiated by the exclusive list of winners, which include some of Asia’s most renowned business leaders, corporations and brands.

Johor Port has also recently clinched two awards at the Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industri or Industry Excellence Awards organised by Ministry of International Trade and Industry for the Service Sector under Category 4 (domestic company with sales turnover of more than RM100 million) and the Prime Minister’s Award.

Some of Johor Port’s recent achievements include the Excellence in Port Facilities Management Award from the Asia Pacific Business Council for Sustainability and Institute of Sustainability, the Excellence in Ports and Terminal Training/Education Award at the Global Ports Forum Awards as well as the prestigious Global Performance Excellence Award - World Class from the Asia Pacific Quality Organisation which recognises companies and organisations demonstrating a commendable performance of business excellence that contribute to business success.
