Seaport Worldwide Extends Monetary Contribution to Tanjung Piai Parliament Service Centre for Back-To-School Programme

Seaport Worldwide Sdn Bhd (SWW), a member of MMC Group, has extended financial aid contribution to the Tanjung Piai Parliament Service Centre. The contribution was given to support the Back-to-School programme, organised to assist the less fortunate primary students in Tanjung Piai area by providing school supplies for the upcoming school term.

The cheque was handed over to YB Dato’ Sri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, Member of Parliament Tanjung Piai by YBhg Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Chairman of SWW. Also present at the ceremony were representatives from Tanjung Piai Parliament Service Centre and SWW’s management team.

SWW is currently involved in two major projects within the Tanjung Piai Parliament area, specifically the development of Tanjung Bin Industrial Park, a 2,255 acres industrial development located opposite of Port of Tanjung Pelepas and the construction of the 7.5 kilometres Sungai Pulai Bridge. The bridge will connect the district of Gelang Patah and Pontian and is targeted for completion by the third quarter of 2022.

This contribution is part of SWW stakeholder’s management initiatives aimed at supporting the community within its business operations especially during this challenging time.
