PTP Welcomes Working Visit from Kedah State Health Department

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, hosted a working visit from Kedah State Health Department led by Dr Norizan Ahmad, Deputy Director of Kedah State Health Department. The delegation was also accompanied by Dr Lily Rafidah Mohamed Zaki, Chief Assistant Director of Johor State Health Department and other medical officers.
The objective of the visit was primarily to study PTP’s Ship-to-Ship (STS) Business and administrative matters involving the Ministry of Health (MoH) aimed at replicating the best practices implemented by PTP on the business for Andaman Port project in Kedah.
The delegation was welcomed by Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP and the management team. They were given a comprehensive presentation, headed by Khairul Amalin Abd Rahman, Head of Health, Safety, Security and Environment Division of PTP on the company’s latest operational performances, progress and its on-going development as well as the contribution of the STS business towards PTP. Following the in-depth presentation, the delegation proceeded for a tour to the Marine Control Centre at Level 7 and followed by a boat tour to view PTP’s STS area up close.
The working visit is part of PTP’s stakeholder engagement programme aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between PTP and Government agencies.
