Port of Tanjung Pelepas Initiates Covid-19

Vaccine Booster for Employees and Industry Players

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, initiated the COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Dose Programme, offering all PTP employees and local industry players to maintain their full vaccination status and minimise the threat posed by the latest variant of COVID-19, Omicron.

The programme is conducted at PTP’s very own Pusat Pemberian Vaksin Booster starting from 3 until 31 January 2022. Open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, the centre provides 200 booster shots for free daily.

To kick start the programme, Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP and Joe Schofield, Chief Operations Officer of PTP, had volunteered to be the first two recipients of the booster shot to promote and encourage all employees to partake in the programme. To date, all PTP senior management team members were fully vaccinated with the additional booster shot to ensure PTP remains safe against the virus threat.

PTP fully embraces the state of Johor and the nation aspiration in achieving herd immunity to end the pandemic through offering the vaccination booster.
