AIR Berhad Celebrates the World Earth Day 2022

Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad (AIR Berhad), a member of MMC Group, organised exciting environmental programmes in honor of the World Earth Day that is celebrated on the same date every year.

To brighten the spirit of Earth Day, all employees of AIR Berhad participated in the “Office Mega Spring-Cleaning Programme”. During this programme, AIR Berhad employees were required to organise and clean off their work space and segregate the trash for recycling.

In “Turn Your Lights Off” Programme, the employees were required to turn-off the office lights for 30 minutes between 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm to reduce the electricity consumption and promote energy conservation. This act was an inspiration by the worldwide annual tradition in April during ‘Earth Hour’, in which millions of people across the planet turn off the lights between certain periods.

Apart of these activities, AIR Berhad has also introduced initiative called ‘Trash-To-Cash Programme”. For this, employees were encouraged to recycle e-waste items that are no longer can be used with eco-conscious company that is dedicated to disposing of e-waster properly for the greater good of the society.

To conclude, creating awareness is another way to save the earth and its resources from endangering. AIR Berhad believes this small effort can lead to a greater impact and there is nothing as good as contributing to our mother earth for future generation. The more people do, the better off our planet will be!
