Penang Port Organises Blood Donation Drive: A Single Pint Saves Three Lives,
A Single Act Creates A Million Smiles
Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, continued its Corporate Social Responsibility programme by organising Blood Donation Drive at North Butterworth Container Terminal.
This programme was co-organised with Hospital Seberang Jaya, Penang as an initiative to support the National Blood Centre to ensure the supply of blood is always at a safe level. Held from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm, the programme was met with a merry response with a total of 45 donors from various departments in Penang Port. The Blood Donation Drive managed to emphasise solidarity between its employees in working together towards acts of kindness.
Penang Port extends its greatest appreciation towards Hospital Seberang Jaya in making the Blood Donation Drive a success.
