PTP Collaborates With Ihsan Johor to Provide Assistance to COVID-19 Centres in Johor Bahru

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, collaborated with Ihsan Johor, a local Non-Governmental Organisation body that focuses on providing humanitarian aid locally and internationally to assist COVID-19 centres located within Johor Bahru.

With the objective to help and support the hospitals due to the increasing number of COVID-19 patients, PTP purchased dry food items such as mineral water, biscuits and instant noodles using the donation money that was collected from the employees earlier this year. Together with Ihsan Johor, these items were then distributed to three hospitals which are Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Hospital Sultan Ismail and Hospital Permai in Johor Bahru. All the volunteers adhered to the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures such as wearing face mask, maintaining social distance and frequent hand sanitising during the distribution to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

As the COVID-19 cases continue to rise within the nation, PTP remains committed to assist the community and frontliners during these difficult times.
