Penang Port's Give for Good Campaign Continues to Play Vital Role in Aiding the Community

Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, aided the Penang General Hospital through its Give for Good campaign in which Penang Port distributed dry food such as biscuits, peanuts, dry noodles, packet drinks and mineral water to the frontliners.

The Give for Good campaign ran from 19 March 2021 to 10 April 2021 where a donation drive was organised amongst the employees of Penang Port to collect as many dry food as possible. In order to achieve maximum participation, donation boxes were stationed at all Penang Port’s terminal and offices namely Penang Port Headquarters, North Butterworth Container Terminal, Butterworth Wharves Cargo Terminal and Prai Bulk Cargo Terminal. The Give for Good campaign received an overwhelming response from the employees.

On another occasion, Persatuan Pekerja Islam Penang Port Pulau Pinang also distributed 700 packs of bubur lambuk to the employees as part of their effort to share the joy of Ramadan.
