Port of Tanjung Pelepas Receives Recognition from Human Resource – In   

Development Fund for Effort in Developing Growth Of Human Capital in Malaysia

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, received an honourable recognition from the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) for the company’s continuous effort and contribution towards the growth of human capital in Malaysia.

The recognition was presented to Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP during the official launching ceremony of HRDF’s Placement Centre at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre by Datuk Shahul Hameed Dawood, Chief Executive of HRDF. The event was officiated by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Finance with the presence of YB Datuk Seri M Saravanan, Minister of Human Resources.

HRDF’s Placement Centre is a One Stop Platform for employers to provide job placements through training and development opportunities to suitable candidates. In 2020, PTP had successfully provided development opportunities for 12 fresh graduates in the Port Apprentice Programme. To date, the programme has completed its 13th  iteration and  PTP is committed to continue nurturing the right talents that will ultimately contribute to the growth of the company and industry.
