MMC Group Managing Director’s Courtesy Visit to Penang State Governor and Chairman of Penang Port Commission

Dato' Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad and Dato' Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port) paid a courtesy visit to the Penang State Governor, Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak.

The courtesy visit was organised to provide an overview of MMC Group's port operation and ascertain its role to revive the nation's economic growth. MMC through its expertise, capabilities and resources will continue to play a fundamental role in supporting the Government’s agenda of creating socio-economic prosperity, which is realised through long term and reflective planning, social welfare, optimum utilisation of national technology and strong moral values.

Following the visit, Dato’ Sri Che Khalib and Dato’ Sasedharan visited Datuk Tan Teik Cheng, Chairman of Penang Port Commission (PPC). The visit was to discuss on endless possibilities of establishing Penang Port as one of the most efficient multi-purpose ports in the region.

MMC Group, with an international track record as a strategic port operator with experience, will continue to work closely with the Penang State Governor and PPC to capitalise on the current and future growth potentials in Penang.
