Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, welcomed an official visit from the newly appointed Officer in Charge of PDRM District (OCPD) Seberang Perai Utara, YDH Assistant Commissioner of Police Mohd Radzi Ahmad, together with his contingent at the North Butterworth Container Terminal.  

The police contingent was greeted by Syamsyul Helmy Mohd Rafiaee, Penang Port’s Head of Operations Division, Puvanesingam Veerasingam, Head of Security, Safety & Emergency Services and Ares bin Salim, Head of Conventional Cargo & Warehouse Services. During the visit, the delegation was given a briefing on the port operations, services and facilities. They were then taken for a port tour in which Penang Port highlighted on its various installation services and activities.

The visit was aimed at strengthening the relationship between Penang Port and PDRM as well as improving the security system at the port.
