Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad (AIR Berhad), a member of MMC Group organised the Theoretical Knowledge of Non-Revenue Water (NRW). The objective of this training was to give a guiding framework for the long-term NRW management process, as well as hands-on support with project planning and execution.

With more than 20 years of experience, the workshop was delivered by Mustafah Ikram from MBI Technology Sdn Bhd. The two-day workshop provided the participants an overview of NRW which is a major utility performance gap and the main reason for a very high losses in urban water supply systems. The first part of the workshop enhanced the capacity of decision makers in the water sector to understand NRW concepts to make the most efficient, effective and equitable use of investments in water supply.

The second part of the workshop equipped the participants with hands-on examples and tools to manage NRW plans in a utility context. To wrap-up the workshop, an engaging discussion was held to evaluate participants action plan and learning progress for them to implement the new knowledge associated with the NRW management.
