Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad (AIR Berhad), a member of MMC Group attended Malaysian Water Academy Sdn Bhd (MyWA) a Dam Safety Surveillance training for Projek Air Mentah RAPID (PAMER) Operation team at Seluyut Dam, Johor. This training course was conducted by Malaysian Water Academy Sdn Bhd (MyWA) with the intention of imparting the required knowledge to dam operators enabling them to understand the basic requirements of dam safety surveillance.

With more than 25 years of experience, the workshop was delivered by Zulhazmi Elias a PSMB Certified Trainer for MyWA & Energy Manager, ASEAN Energy Management Scheme. The two-day workshop provided the participants a practical dam safety inspection to gauge the knowledge and capabilities of the operators in view for a possible implementation of an integrated dam operations system.

AIR Berhad believes the dam safety training programme organised by MyWA was able to provide a structured approach for the company to gain better understanding on skills and competencies required for key roles associated with modern dam management practice.
