MMC Group Companies Celebrate
Johor's Media Practitioners in Johor Media Award 2018
MMC Group southern based operating companies Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), Johor Port Berhad (JPB), Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (SATSSB) and Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd (SAC) attended the Johor based media in the Johor Media Award 2018 held at Persada International Convention Centre, Johor Bahru to celebrate the Johor based media practitioners.
The award night was officiated by the Johor Chief Minister, YAB Datuk Osman Sapian witnessed by the Chairman of Entrepreneurship Development, Cooperative and Creative Economy Committee, Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali where 232 nominations for 34 award categories were contested including print and electronic media, photography, radio broadcasting, journalist and television cameraman and the best TV news coverage.
Organized by the Johor State Government, the event was held to recognize and appreciate the role and contribution of conventional and electronic media practitioners in helping to disseminate important information and development to the people.
MMC Group delegation was led by SATSSB’s CEO, Md Derick Basir, PTP’s Chief Financial Officer, Muhammad Abdullah Hatta, General Manager of Group Property, Gan Seng Keong along with several other management members from the southern based group companies showing continuous support and appreciation to Johor based media practitioners.
