Penang Port Celebrates Chinese Lunar New Year with Customers

Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a member of MMC Group, celebrated the Chinese Lunar New Year at Hainan Town Restaurant in George Town.

About 150 guests from shipping liners, cruise liners, forwarding agents, and logistics companies attended the dinner. Facing the North Butterworth Container Terminal (NBCT) on the mainland and also the iconic Penang ferry terminal, they enjoyed the gentle evening sea breeze while local Hainanese cuisine was served.

In his welcoming speech, Dato’ Syed Mohamad bin Syed Murtaza, Chairman of PPSB thanked all the business partners for their continuous support and hoped for more future business opportunities that would be mutually beneficial.

Also present at the dinner were Mr Ian Brian James, Group CEO MMC Port Holdings Sdn Bhd, Mr Sasedharan Vasudevan, CEO of PPSB, Mr. Radhi Mohamad, COO of PPSB and Mr Desmond Yong, Head of Commercial, MMC Port Holdings Sdn Bhd.
