PTP Advances Digital Strategy with Implementation of Latest ERP System

Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a member of MMC Group, has successfully sealed an agreement with Ramco Systems Limited (Ramco) for the upgrading of the port’s current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.


The incorporation of the latest ERP system is part of PTP’s continuous effort in empowering its digital strategy and enhancing its operational efficiency. In addition, it is also to supplement the port’s growing customer demand and industry requirement.


The signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of Ramco System Limited in Singapore and saw Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PTP and Virender Aggarwal, Chief Executive of Ramco, inking the MoU. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Chairman of PTP and Venketrama Raja, Chairman of Ramco Group. Also in attendance were Ian James, Group CEO of MMC Ports Holdings; Shahrull Allam Shah Abdul Halim, CEO of Johor Port; Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, CEO of Northport; Sasedharan Vasudevan, CEO of Penang Port; as well as senior management teams from PTP and Ramco.


This latest digital initiative is a testament to PTP’s commitment in providing best in class service for its customers, given the pace at which technological advancements are changing the world. By investing in the latest technology, PTP is further establishing its terminal as one of the best equipped and most technologically advanced terminal port in the region.
