Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, organised an Employee Recognition Programme for QC and RTG Operators of the Year 2021 to acknowledge the Top 3 best performers from amongst their Quay Crane (QC) and Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) Operators at Johor Port’s Container Terminal throughout 2021.
Lokmanul Naim Ibrahim was again named as the QC Operator of the Year while Sun Iradi Bahari came in second and Rahizuren Kusnin was placed third. Meanwhile, Mohamad Shafiq Baharudin was named the RTG Operator of the Year, Mohamad Ariff Hasan Basri came in second and Zafran Mohd Akebal was placed third.
Presented by Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer of Johor Port, the Top 3 QC and RTG Operators each received a cash reward, plaque and certificate. Also present at the event were Thiagu Krishnan, Head of Operations Division, Hermee Tahir, Head of Human Resources Division, Juhaimi Hashim, General Manager of Container Department and Suratmin Alwee, Union President.
The QC and RTG Operators of the Year Award is part of the Company’s Employee Recognition initiatives aimed to raise employees’ morale and to stay motivated especially during this unprecedented challenge due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This programme is also part of Johor Port’s initiative to appreciate and thank its employees for their outstanding achievements in supporting the company’s Values and Goals.
