On 6 March 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, participated in Jamin Kerja Keluarga Malaysia Career Carnival held at Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim, Pontian, Johor. The career carnival was organised by the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) to offer employment opportunities directly to the public, especially in Pontian.
The career carnival was launched by YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Prime Minister of Malaysia with the presence of YB Datuk Seri M Saravanan, Minister of Human Resource.
This career carnival offered more than 5,000 job vacancies. Featuring more than 20 employers and numerous Government agencies, the event saw undergraduates, graduates, housewives, disabled persons and other job hunters applying for the various job placement and other career related opportunities offered.
The participation of PTP in this Career Carnival was part of the company’s continuous effort to create brand awareness and on-going recruitment drive to provide job opportunities to all Malaysians especially to the local communities surrounding PTP.
