On 10 March 2022, Port Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) a member of MMC Group, hosted an inaugural working visit from Datuk Chong Sin Woon, Chairman of Port Klang Authority and the Board Members.
The delegation was welcomed by Muhammad Abdullah Hatta, Chief Finance Officer of PTP, Tuan Haji Rosnan Fathlal, Chairman of Johor Port Authority (JPA) as well as PTP and JPA senior management team members.
The delegation was given a comprehensive presentation on PTP’s latest operational performances, the port’s progress, its on-going development and contribution of the port industry towards the nation’s economic sustainability. This was followed by an in-depth discussion and exchange of ideas between all parties on best practises for a port.
Afterwards, the delegation then proceeded to Marine Control Centre, Level 7, Wisma A for a quick brief before departing for a port tour. During the port tour, delegates were brought to PTP Central Planning & Performance Office to see PTP’s latest state of the art Asset Digitalisation Programme and the terminal up close.
The working visit by Port Klang Authority Board Members is part of PTP’s stakeholder engagement programme throughout 2022 aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between PTP and Government agencies.
