AIRB Participates in Innovate

Johor 2017

Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad (AIRB), a Member of MMC Group participated in Innovate Johor 2017 organised by University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) at Dewan Sultan Iskandar, UTM, Johor.

The event, aimed at bridging up between industrial owners and academician scholars through exposure of innovations and inventions from the university.

Themed ‘Excellence Innovation Towards Sustainable Entrepreneurship’, the event was held for three consecutive days and attended by more than 160 participants from students, public and private agencies in the state of Johor.

On the last day of the event, Mr. Adam Saffian Ghazali, Chief Executive Officer of AIRB and Professor Datuk Dr Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UTM were invited to delivered a public forum entitled “Sharing on Industrial Trading Partnership”.

Information on AIRB’s first Wastewater Recycling Plant, a collaboration project with Advance Membrane Technology (AMTEC) of UTM was also presented during the event. The project has been successfully completed and operated since November 2016.
