MMC Corporation Berhad (MMC) successfully organised a “Back to School Programme” for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative with orphans from Teratak Nur Barakah and Rumah Bakti Nur Syaheerah in Selangor to prepare for the new academic year.
A total of 50 children aged between 6 to 17 years old from both orphanages were accompanied by our volunteers to purchase their school supplies such as school uniforms, shoes, stockings, school bag, revision books and stationeries.
MMC “Back to School Programme” was part of the Group’s continuous commitment to promote human capital development and improve the well-being of the communities by aiding the underprivileged and needy children with basic school supplies.
The CSR initiative was a good platform to instil the spirit of volunteerism among employees and to strengthen our relationship with the local communities. MMC will continue to expand its efforts in education-related activities that can benefit the communities within its operations.
