Cheer Up Senior Citizens Through Corporate Social Responsibility

MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd (MMC PLSB) and MMC Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (MMCES), Members of MMC Group successfully organised a joint Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme with senior citizens of Pusat Jagaan Al-Fikrah in Kg. Sungai Sekamat, Kajang.
The CSR programme was led by En Abdul Fatah Endut, Chief Executive Officer of MMCES and Major (R) Zulkarnain Yaakub, Deputy Project Director of MMC. More than 40 volunteers from both companies came to support and distributed essential grocery items to the home.
Many activities were held during the event which include cleaning the home, karaoke and many more. MMCES contributed two new water tanks for the home to facilitate their increasing washing needs.
The programme was organised as part of MMC PLSB and MMCES initiatives to fulfil their role as a responsible corporate organisation in community development. The programme was also held to instil the spirit of togetherness and volunteerism among employees and to strengthen relationship with the local communities.
