Visits Langat Sewerage Project

Langat Centralised Sewerage Treatment Plant (Langat CSTP) received a working visit from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Malaysia office. The delegation consisted representatives from The Embassy of Japan, Kuala Lumpur; Tokyo Getsuido Sewerage Service Corporation (TGS) and JICA respectively. JICA representatives’ visit was to verify the suitability of Langat CSTP as an exercise venue for future training by JICA.

During the visit, TGS stated JICA’s intention to continue to conduct training in Malaysia, particularly at Langat CSTP. This is due to the fact that the Langat CSTP being one of the Tokyo technology projects implemented in Malaysia.

The delegation then visited the Langat CSTP Public Information Centre before proceeding to the CSTP site to witness the operations first hand.
