Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a member of MMC Group, received an inaugural visit from Mejar Jeneral Dato’ Pahlawan Ir Haji Chapiti Haji Redzwan, Chief Engineer of Malaysian Army accompanied by Kolonel Redha Abduh Abd Hamid, Regiment Commander of Specialist Engineer and senior officers from Royal Army Engineers Regiment (RAJD).

The official delegates were warmly welcomed by Dato’ Syed Mohamad Syed Murtaza, Chairman of PPSB together with Mejar Radhi Mohamad, Commanding Officer of No. 3 Squadron 40th Regiment/Chief Operating Officer of PPSB. During this visit, the delegates were given a comprehensive presentation of PPSB‘s structure and operations as well as the function of Port Specialist Regiment which is also known as the 40th Regiment by Mejar Radhi Mohamad. This was followed by a boat tour for the delegates to visit all PPSB’s terminals and facilities.

This official visit was organised in conjunction with RAJD exercise to monitor strategic facilities located in Penang namely train, water supply, electric power supply and Penang Port facilities.
