Kontena Nasional Pledges for
Anti-Corruption
Kontena Nasional Berhad (KNB), a member of MMC Group, held a briefing session on Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) Policy and Framework and the signing ceremony of Ikrar Bebas Rasuah (IBR) at its Head Office at Jalan Klang Lama, Petaling Jaya.
The session was attended by all KNB employees including its subsidiary, Kontena Nasional Global Logistics with the aim at creating awareness and ensuring the compliance to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2018.
The session started with a briefing on the approved ABAC Policy and Framework by Aryanti Zarlina Suhut, Assistant Manager of Risk Management Department, followed by a speech by Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KNB. The session continued with the signing of the ABAC Policy Statement as a representation of KNB and its Top Management’s commitment to conduct business ethically and adopting zero-tolerance approach towards any form of corruption.
The session ended with the pledging ceremony led by KNB EXCO members followed by all 80 attendees, including the Branch Managers from Port Klang, Penang, Kuantan and Johor, with the CEO standing as a witness.
