Northport Strengthens Teamwork  Value Through Gotong-Royong Activity

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, organised a gotong-royong programme at Northport’s new warehouse in Tanjung Harapan, Port Klang. A total of 100 employees from all divisions and departments participated in the programme by cleaning up and beautify the warehouse compound.

Besides strengthening the teamwork spirit among members of TeamNorthport, the gotong-royong activity demonstrated Northport’s commitment towards cleanliness, which is one of the key elements in nurturing environmental sustainability.

Northport acquired the 200,000 square feet warehouse from Kontena Nasional in August 2019. The acquisition of the warehouse brings the total Northport’s warehouse capacity to 2.4 million square feet It will further enhance Northport’s capability to provide integrated logistics services to its customers.

Another series of gotong-royong programme has already been planned by the Northport to clean and beautify its business operations areas with the main objective of preserving the unique culture of teamwork among members of TeamNorthport.
