Johor State Health Department Conducts Pandemic 2019-nCov Precautionary Briefing
for Senai International Airport Community
Johor State Health Department conducted 2019-nCoV Precautionary Briefing session at Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport), a member of MMC Group, due to the recent Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak.
The briefing was held with the aim to provide information on the current update in regard to the pandemic outbreak while giving precautionary advice as well as preventive measures to minimise the exposure risk. The session was attended by representatives from the airport authority, airlines and government agencies.
Being one of the international gateways for the country, Senai International Airport has taken the recent outbreak situation seriously and is concerned about the well-being of the passengers and the airport community.
Senai International Airport has been working closely with the Johor State Health Department to take precautionary measures such as conducting health screening for all inbound passengers from affected countries with medical team and ambulance on standby during the airport operational hours to attend to passengers with symptoms of infection.
In addition, Senai International Airport also carried out daily disinfectant cleaning at the areas with high human contacts, providing hand sanitisers around the terminal area and ensuring the front-liners to wear face masks, gloves and sanitised their hands regularly.
