Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a member of MMC Group, celebrated its employees and family members' achievement in a delightful ceremony at The Light Hotel, Seberang Jaya. The event was officiated by YBhg Dato’ Syed Mohamad bin Syed Murtaza, Chairman of PPSB. Other guests that attended the ceremony were Heads of Departments, representatives of the PPSB Workers’ Union and the PPSB Senior Officers' Association.

This is one of the company’s annual initiatives under the Department of Human Resource to celebrate the employees and their families. This year, 195 employees and their children were celebrated for Long Service Awards, Academic Excellence Awards, graduates of Employee Career Advancement Programme (E-CAP) and retirees of Penang Port in 2019.  

E-CAP is a career development programme by PPSB and Politeknik Seberang Perai that consists of two courses which are a Professional Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Professional Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering. This programme is a continuous effort by the Human Resource Department to enhance employees’ career development along with their skills and knowledge.
