PTP Organises Futsal Clinic and Tournament for Primary School Students

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, organised a Futsal Clinic and Tournament for primary schools within Gelang Patah area.
Held at Eco Sports World Gelang Patah, a total of seven primary schools participated in this programme with the objectives of giving exposure on futsal techniques, developing students’ talent in sports and producing skilled futsal players from Gelang Patah.
During the futsal clinic, members of Port Tanjung Pelepas Football Club (PTPFC) demonstrated their skills and provided hands-on coaching to all participating students followed by the futsal tournament.
After an intense tournament, SK Taman Nusa Perintis 1 was declared as the champion and Ammar Haikal Rafi Al Rafiq from the same school was awarded as the best player. The prizes and trophies were presented by Ishaq Amarullah Ithnin, President of PTPFC and Mohamad Rashid Paboh, Head of Sports Supervision, Johor Bahru Education Department.
PTP’s involvement in this kind of programme is aim at supporting the governments’ initiatives in promoting healthy lifestyle among the public through sports and recreational activities.
