On 15 October 2019, Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport) a member of MMC Group, organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru.

The annual event held at its Aeromall Public Concourse, was opened to all airport community employees, passengers and public visitors. The donation drive received a positive response with 27,000 mililiters of blood donated by 60 donors, indicating that over hundreds of lives could be saved as a single donation can save up to three lives.  

The programme was organised as part of Senai International Airport’s corporate social responsibility initiative to create awareness on the importance of blood donation by appreciating the ‘gift of life’ which only human beings can give to another. Through this programme, Senai International Airport employees will also have a platform for engaging in charitable efforts with the local community.
