Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, achieved a string of milestones when it had successfully logged in the all-time highest records for total highest moves in a month, total volume handled per month and highest moves by a shift respectively.

For the all-time highest record for moves per month, a total of 539,492 moves were recorded, surpassing the long-standing record that was achieved in August 2015. This accomplishment has subsequently allowed PTP to hit another proud landmark with a new monthly all-time total handling volume of 868,334 TEUs, surpassing the previous record achieved in December 2019. Consequently, Group A Operations Team became the first team in the history of PTP to pass 11,000 moves landmark with total of 11,430 moves in a shift.  

To commemorate the milestones achieved, a small and humble celebratory event was organised as an appreciation for the hard work and dedication of everyone involved directly and indirectly to the historical feats. In attendance for the event were Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP, fellow senior management team as well as representatives from other divisions within the company.

These new achievements highlights PTP’s strength and capability in producing world class productivity level, whilst maintaining strong aspiration to pursue best in class customers' relations strategy amidst the current challenging business environment.
