Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, hosted an inaugural working visit by Dato’ Abdul Majid Ahmad Khan, Chairman of Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and his delegation.

The visit included a comprehensive presentation on PTP’s operational performances, the port’s progress,and its on-going development. The delegation was then taken to the Marine Control Centre, Level 7, Wisma A before preceded for a tour to see PTP container terminal and Free Zone area.

Visits by state and federal government agencies are part of PTP’s stakeholders’ engagement programme focusing on fostering relationship with various government agencies and authorities. A strong and effective bilateral relation between PTP with government agencies and authorities will ensure continuous support and commitment from both sides simultaneously brings good image on PTP as a proactive and responsible business organisation.
