On 29 February 2023, Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (Alam Flora), subsidiary of Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), achieved the noteworthy feat of being recognised for the second consecutive year at the GeoInnovation Awards 2023. This recognition was attributed to its innovative homegrown operating tracking systems namely, GeoFlora and mFlora Telematics. Held at Aloft Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, the award was received by Mohamad Fardaus Rahmat General Manager of Human Capital of Alam Flora and Kammal Hijjal Kassim, Head of Digitalisation of Alam Flora.
Organised by Esri Malaysia, the award aims to recognise innovative geospatial solutions that effectively tackle Malaysia's social, economic, business and environmental challenges. These solutions support urban decision-making for civic leaders and help businesses address operational inefficiencies.
