On 4 March 2024, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, handed over donations to school children at Mukim Serkat in Pontian, Johor. The donation aims to support 169 students for the new school year. The significant event was officiated by Ab Samir Mahadi, Village Chief of Kawasan 1.

A total of RM27,600 was allocated to aid students across various education levels, comprising preschool, primary, and secondary. During the event, Ab Samir mentioned that Malakoff's ongoing support has significantly contributed to the development of Kawasan 1, and he expressed hope for further improvements, emphasising assistance for students in their educational journey. Malakoff delights in offering assistance to empower young minds, firmly believing that every child deserves an appropriate and supportive educational environment.

The collaborative effort between Malakoff and the local communities exemplifies the power of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in driving positive change. By investing in education, Malakoff demonstrates its dedication to nurturing the potential of future generations and fostering a brighter future for the community of Mukim Serkat, Pontian.
