Kontena Nasional Fosters Community Spirit Through CSR - Gotong-Royong Memasak Bubur Lambuk With Staff During Ramadan at Masjid Al-Islamiah

On 21 March 2024, Kontena Nasional Berhad (Kontena Nasional), a member of MMC Group, successfully organised a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavour at Masjid Al-Islamiah, Kampung Lindungan. This event, known as Gotong-Royong Memasak Bubur Lambuk, was assisted by twenty dedicated employees from Kontena Nasional Headquarters Office in Petaling Jaya.

During the CSR Program, 250 boxes of food aid were distributed to the deserving beneficiaries at Masjid Al-Islamiah. This distribution was part of the larger MMC Prihatin Ramadan Box programme, a longstanding initiative aimed at providing essential sustenance to those in need during the Ramadan.

Following this, the freshly prepared bubur lambuk were distributed among the kariah of Kampung Lindungan and Kontena Nasional employees and local community through drive-through system at Kontena Nasional office.  

This CSR program not only provided essential aid to the community but also left a lasting impact to the volunteers. It served as a poignant lesson in perseverance and solidarity, fostering a sense of camaraderie among our team members. Through such initiatives, Kontena Nasional reaffirms its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
