On 20 January 2024, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, organised its annual friendly bowling match with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) at Bowling Centre, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC). Aimed to further strengthen the bonds of camaraderie between Malakoff and its key stakeholders, this new year's kick-off programme saw the participation of 40 individuals from both organisations.
The event started off with Rumaizi Abdul Halim, in his role as President of Kristal Club and Head of ST Contingent, making the symbolic first roll to mark the commencement of the eagerly anticipated match.
After two rounds of intense competition, Group 1 consisting ST's Rafidah Jasli, Ku Basirah Ku Khalif, Siti Nur Athirah and Muhammad Zamri, and Malakoff's Leny Safinaz Ismail, emerged as the champions in the Group category. Muhammad Zamri of ST and Leny Safinaz Ismail of Malakoff were announced as champions for the Men's and Women's categories, respectively.
This initiative represents Malakoff's ongoing efforts with its key stakeholders through initiatives that fortify our cooperation and enhance the spirit of silaturrahim to achieve common goals and objectives. Additionally, it aligns with Malakoff's commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 17, which advocates for stronger partnerships to support sustainable development and environmental protection and its brand purpose of 'Enhancing Life, Enriching Communities'.
