On 22 January 2024, Kontena Nasional Berhad (Kontena Nasional), a member of the MMC Group, hosted an educational visit for 21 students from Inner Mongolia University of Technology (IMUT), Mongolia, and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam Campus at its Headquarters Office in Petaling Jaya. The objective of this visit was to familiarise students with Kontena Nasional's business operations, offering them firsthand exposure and insights into the logistics industry.
The educational visit commenced with a briefing on the company's background presented by Kirawan Zeiswar, Division Head of Freight Forwarding, followed by an overview of warehouse operations by Syarizad Manaf, Warehouse Manager. Subsequently, the students from IMUT and UiTM were escorted on a comprehensive tour of the operational areas, providing them with an opportunity to observe the warehouse in action.
The visit demonstrated Kontena Nasional's commitment as a responsible corporate organisation to fostering educational development among future industry leaders.
