On 20 July 2023, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, successfully organised the Ceramah Perdana Awal Muharram 2023 entitled 'Hijrah Menuju Redha Allah SWT" with the esteemed Ustaz Syed Norhisyam Tuan Padang at Malakoff Academy of Excellence. The lecture began with a welcome speech, which captured the attention and anticipation of the audience to enrich their understanding of rejuvenating faith and inner spirit during the holy month of Muharram.
Ustaz Syed Norhisyam Tuan Padang's engaging talk focused on the theme of cultivating inner strength through the practice of patience and gratitude. He emphasised how the virtue of patience can be a means of coping with hardship and how this quality can lead to inner peace and spiritual growth. The esteemed speaker also highlighted the practice of gratitude as an essential part of strengthening inner faith.
Ustaz Syed Norhisyam reminded the participants to acknowledge the blessings bestowed upon them, no matter how small, and to express sincere appreciation to Allah SWT for His abundant grace. Gratitude, he said, is the key to unlocking contentment and strengthening one's relationship with the Creator, as he also quoted, "Those who are always grateful are among those who are always happy."
