On 24 May 2024, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), Johor Port Berhad (JPB), Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (SATSSB), and Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd (SAC) – members of the southern subsidiaries of MMC Group came together to host a festive Hari Raya gathering for valued customers and stakeholders.
This annual event, fostering closer engagement and relationship-building, was held at the Renaissance Hotel in Johor Bahru. Over 500 guests, representing various companies and government agencies, attended the celebration.
The event enjoyed the distinguished presence of YB Lee Ting Han, YB Fazli, YB Datuk Hasni, Singapore Consulate, Indonesia Consulate, State Education Director, Soren Maersk, Ng Kuan Khai, Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore - Johor Bahru, Sigit Suryantoro Widiyanto, Consulate General of The Republic of Indonesia - Johor Bahru, Dato’ Haji Ir. Hasni bin Mohammad, the Chairman of the Johor Sustainability Centre, Mohd Hanafi bin Samad, Johor State Education Director, alongside a host of state and federal government officials, valued customers, associates, media representatives, and senior management from the participating MMC subsidiaries.
MMC Group was well-represented by its leadership team, including Mark Hardiman, CEO of PTP, Md Derick Basir, CEO of JPB, Gan Seng Keong, General Manager (Group Property) of MMC Berhad, and Kennedy Ayu, CEO of SATSSB.
Embracing the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the gathering provided a platform for networking and strengthening relationships with valued partners and government representatives. Delicious traditional Hari Raya delicacies complemented the festive atmosphere.
In a heartwarming addition to this year's celebration, the group also invited 40 children from Pusat Jagaan Kasih Setanggi and Rumah Perlindungan Fitrah Qaseh, two local orphanages based in Johor Bahru. This initiative embodied the spirit of giving back to the community and sharing the joy of Hari Raya with those less fortunate.
