YB Senator Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul, Minister Of Investment, Trade & Industry (MITI) Inaugural Working Visit to Senai Airport City (SAC)

On 18 April 2024, Senai Airport City City Sdn Bhd (SACSB) hosted a working visit for YB Senator Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul, Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry Malaysia (MITI), Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid, Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Investment Development Authority ("MIDA") and delegations to Senai Airport City (SAC) and engagement with SAC's Investors, Foreign Direct Investors (FDIs) i.e. Wiwynn Technology Services Sdn Bhd (Wiwynn) and Domestic Direct Investors (DDIs) i.e. MyBrush Industries Sdn. Bhd. (MyBrush).

The visit was hosted by Tan Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad and Gan Seng Keong, Chief Executive Officer of SACSB. The General Manager of Wiwynn, Dover Liu and the Chief Executive Officer of MyBrush, Datuk Lee Fook Yuen engaged with the Minister and the delegation on their investment experience and exchange of ideas in promoting more FDI & DDI to Johor in SAC, followed by a factory tour.

The YB Minister expressed his appreciation of Wiwynn's investment commitment valued at approximately RM1 billion (under phase 1) in Malaysia and creating 1,200 job opportunities to date, while MyBrush being one of a key supply chain of Dyson, producing 80% of Dyson's brushes and being a successful local Malaysian DDI supporting FDI by integrating into the Multi-National Companies (MNC) supply chain.

The visit by YB Senator Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul demonstrates SAC's on-going commitment to stakeholder engagement and promoting stronger bilateral relations between SAC, Government agencies and investors, as a testament of SAC industrial park being the preferred investment destination for both FDIs and DDIs in Johor.
