On 17 January 2023, Alam Flora Sdn Bhd has won the Human Resources Development Awards 2022 (HRD Awards 2022) under the Large Employer’s category. The award was presented by YB Tuan V Sivakumar, Minister of Human Resources to Mohamad Fardaus Rahmat, General Manager Human Capital of Alam Flora.
The award, presented to Alam Flora alongside 31 industry players in the country, recognises companies that have shown their dedication towards strengthening the ecosystem of human capital development and workplace excellence as well as demonstrating empathy and concern to their employees.
Dato’ Mohd Zain Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of Alam Flora said that winning the award in 2022 is an extraordinary achievement as it has been a tough year for many organisations and industries in Malaysia after the COVID-19 pandemic.
He added that the award reflects on Alam Flora's performance in human resource development involving more than 10,000 of its ‘wira bumi’ who are committed to creating a sustainable living environment for all.
The HRD Awards aims to recognise employers registered with the HRD Corp who are actively involved in the field of human resource development at the organisational and national levels. Among the award categories besides the HRD Awards are, the Human Resources Minister Award and the HRD Corp Award.
