Senai International Airport is proud to welcome Asia Digital Engineering (ADE), the engineering arm of Capital A (formerly known as AirAsia Group Berhad), the first Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Senai International Airport and ADE’s third MRO facility.
Aimed to further strengthen its mission of delivering the best value MRO services in the region, the 5,000 square metre hangar, built on 107.4 acres has opened its doors to provide services including component support, line maintenance and base maintenance for various aircraft models, such as the Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft families.
The launch event on 18 January 2023 was inaugurated by HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, with officiating speech by Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Chief Executive Officer of Capital A.
Also present were YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar of Johor; Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Haji Azmi Rohani State Secretary of Johor and Tan Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Chairman of Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd/Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad.
