On 10 January 2023, Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport), a member of MMC Group, received visits from YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar of Johor and YB Tuan Raven Kumar Krishnasamy, Chairman of Tourism, Environment, Heritage and Culture Committee in separate occasions at the airport.
They were welcomed by Kennedy Ayu, Chief Executive Officer of Senai International Airport, Noor Safura Suib, General Manager of Commercial and the senior management team of Senai International Airport.
Led by Kennedy Ayu, YB Raven Kumar was enlightened on Senai International Airport’s milestones, connectivity progress, statistics and ongoing development. The delegation was then brought to tour Aeromall, Departure Hall and viewed the ongoing gate expansion project. Also present during this visit were Haji Suhairi Haji Hashim, Director of Tourism Johor as well as other Johor State Government agencies.
The visit agenda resumed with the arrival of YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi at Senai Business Aviation Terminal for a private meeting. Also present during this session was Wan Suziana Wan Othman, Vice-President of Economics and Investment of Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA)
Both visits were important stakeholder engagements for Senai International Airport to share on latest updates and strengthen multilateral relations between the airport operator and various Johor State Governments as well as its agencies. Governments as well as its agencies.
